
Donna J. Noll Stewart

Donna Jean Noll Stewart, 53, a lifelong Scranton resident, died Thursday morning
in the Moses Taylor Hospital intensive care unit after a lengthy illness. She
was the wife of Ronald B. Stewart. They celebrated their 33rd wedding
anniversary June 20.
Born in Scranton, daughter of Mabel L. Buntz Noll, Scranton,
and the late Harold R. Noll, she was a 1968 graduate of Scranton Central High
School and attended Lackawanna Junior College. She was a member of Youth for
Christ and sang in the chorus and ensemble. She was a member of the Hickory
Street Presbyterian Church and was active in the PTA at the John G. Whittier
School and the Parent's Booster Club.
A "home" maker, she was a loving daughter, wife, mother,
sister, grandmother, aunt and great-aunt. She was an avid spoiler of her
grandchildren, with a compassionate soul and a passionate spirit. She lived each
day guided by her faith, and her strength will be greatly missed.
Also surviving are three daughters, Kimberly L. Emick,
Scranton; Heather D. Barrett, Stroudsburg; and Holly J. Stewart, Clarks Summit;
a brother, Kevin B. Noll, Scranton; three grandchildren; a niece; two nephews
and two great-nieces.
The funeral will be Monday with services at 11 a.m. in the
Hickory Street Presbyterian Church, 435 Hickory St., by the Rev. Tom H. Collins,
pastor. Interment, Dunmore Cemetery, Dunmore.
