Lucille H. Pencek, 81, a longtime resident of Scranton, died Monday morning at home after an illness. She was the wife of John A. Pencek, who died Aug. 6, 1973.
Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Stanley H. and Ruth Benjamin Tucker.
She was a loving mother, sister and aunt.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol Ann May, with whom she resided; a brother, Donald Paul Tucker, Scranton; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Krvekoski and Alice Campione; and a brother, Alden S. Tucker.
The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., with services by the Rev. Tom H. Collins, pastor, Hickory Street Presbyterian Church. Interment, private in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
