Marie Victoria Dranchak, 58, of Taylor, formerly of Scranton, died early
Thursday morning at Moses Taylor Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Anthony
Zippitelli and Martha Cina Huntley.
She was a loving mother and grandmother, who adored her
children and grandchildren. She was an avid bingo player.
Her companion of 32 years is Andrew Lepka, Taylor.
Surviving are a son, Joseph Dranchak, Taylor; three
daughters, Marie Vanderbilt, Tunkhannock; Tammy Szajkowski, Scranton, and Andrea
Deal, Taylor; two brothers, Anthony Zippitelli, Clarks Summit, and Louis
Zippitelli, Taylor; four sisters, Rosemarie Stutzman, Clarks Summit; Ann Marie
Juice and Ann Krinock, both of Scranton, and Margaret Naylor, Oklahoma City;
eight grandchildren; nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, aunts
and uncles.
She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Dranchak Jr.
The funeral will be Monday from the Miller Bean Funeral Home,
Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Ann's Basilica, St. Ann's
Street. Entombment, Cathedral Cemetery.
