
Mildred Ettinger

Mildred Ettinger, 85, a lifelong resident of Scranton, died Tuesday morning at
Allied Services Skilled Nursing Center. She was the wife of Walter C. Ettinger,
who died April 24, 1958.
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth
Weissling Ketz, she was a graduate of St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing and
a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She was also active with the North
Scranton Senior Center. Before retirement, she was employed as a registered
nurse at St. Mary's Hospital in South Scranton, Mercy Hospital and Clarks Summit
State Hospital.
She was a caring person who was devoted to her family, her
church and her faith.
Surviving are nieces, nephews, great-nieces and
great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard A. and
Walter H. Ketz.
The funeral will be private at the convenience of the family.
Interment, Forest Hill Cemetery, Dunmore.
