
Hermina Loring

Hermina Loring, 96, a longtime Scranton resident, died Friday at home. Her husband, Albert Loring, died Nov. 29, 1976.
Born in Duryea, daughter of the late Matthew and Elizabeth Ulchek Santich, she was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, South Scranton. She had been employed locally in the textile industry and by Roberts Numbering Machine, Brooklyn, N.Y., as a supervisor.
She will be missed by her family.
Surviving are a son, Albert M. Loring, Bayshore, N.Y.; a sister, Margaret Kaminski, Scranton; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Matthew and John, and three sisters, Helen Hokien, Eleanor Maring and Agnes Grayek.
The funeral will be Thursday from the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., with Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 430 River St. Interment, Marcy Cemetery, Duryea.
