Helen V. Blank, 95, of Vero Beach, Fla., a former longtime resident of Promised Land, died Friday afternoon in Wesley Village after a brief illness. Her husband, L. Lawrence "Bucky" Blank, died Aug. 22, 1981.
Born in Woxall, daughter of the late John B. and Ida S. Kuhns Hendricks, she was a graduate of Allentown High School and Allentown Business College. She was a member of the United Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and the Women's Lutheran Missionary League, Vero Beach. Prior to retirement, she and her husband owned and operated the Old Rangers Inn, Promised Land.
Surviving are a daughter, Joan LaTorre, Scranton; a son, Lawrence, Grand Junction, Colo.; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Cremation, Maple Hill Crematory, Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be private in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
