Julia H. Grambo

Julia H. Grambo, 87, a longtime resident of Scranton and a resident of Abington Manor for the past several years, died Friday morning at Mercy Hospital. She was the widow of Herbert J. Grambo, who died Nov. 20, 1990.
Born in Uniontown, daughter of the late Walter and Helen Jurszietis Kowaniec, she was educated in Scranton public schools and was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Prior to retirement, she was employed by the Single Tax Office in Scranton.
Surviving are three nephews, Edward Grambo, Moosic; Ralph Grambo, Scranton, and Ronald Grambo, Clarks Summit; and a niece, Elaine McAndrew, Erie.
The funeral will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. from the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., with Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Church., 430 River St. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.
