Charles G. Laskowski

Charles G. "Chuck" Laskowski, 55, died early Sunday morning at the Mountain Rest Nursing Home.
Born in Scranton, son of Joseph J. Laskowski, Scranton, and the late Helen A. Michulowski Laskowski, he was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Church. He was employed by RCA Thomson for 30 years.
He was a modest man of great integrity who took pleasure in the things most people took for granted. He loved weekend trips to flea markets and having dinner with friends. He would take time to help his family and friends whenever they needed his help. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Also surviving are a brother, Joseph J. and wife Marlene, Laurel, Md.; two nephews, Michael Laskowski, Colorado, and Steven, San Diego; and his best friend of 30 years, Joseph W. Weiss, Plains Township.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., with Mass at 9:30 in Nativity of Our Lord Church, 633 Orchard St., Scranton. Entombment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
Friends may call Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Luzerne County SPCA, 524 E. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, 18702-6921.
