Robert F. Armbrust

    Robert F. Armbrust, 53, a resident of Scranton, died Tuesday morning at the emergency room of Community Medical Center.

    Born in Scranton, son Alice Anzulewicz Armbrust, Scranton, and the late Edward C. Armbrust, he was a graduate of West Scranton High School and attended the University of Scranton. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he enlisted in the Army in June 1969 and served for three years with the 82nd Airborne Paratroopers, achieving the rank of sergeant. He was employed as a driver for local trucking companies.

    He was a loving son, brother and uncle.

    Also surviving are a brother, Edward C. Armbrust and his wife, Marilyn, Endicott, N.Y.; a sister, Josephine A. Dowse and her husband, George, Clarks Summit; a niece, a nephew and cousins.

    He was preceded in death by a brother, Chester B. Armbrust.

    The funeral will be Saturday with services at 10 a.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., by the Rev. William A. Mierop, pastor, Jackson Street Baptist Church. Interment, Shady Lane Cemetery, Chinchilla.
