Beverly J. Schrader

Beverly Jane Schrader, 66, a lifelong resident of South Scranton, died Wednesday morning at home after an illness.
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Lawrence F. and Frances C. Nycz Schrader, she was a graduate of Scranton Central High School and Lackawanna Business School. She was an active member of the Hickory Street Presbyterian Church, where she was a former Sunday school teacher and Girl Scout leader for Troop 88. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Darlak Properties.
A loving and caring daughter, sister and aunt, she always carried a smile on her face and had only nice things to say about others.
Surviving are a brother, Larry and wife Judy Schrader, Fleetville; two nieces, Layna and Lori; a nephew, Larry; and a great-niece, Abigail.
The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., with services by the Rev. Tom H. Collins, pastor, Hickory Street Presbyterian Church. Interment, Abington Hills Cemetery, South Abington Township.
