
Frank Hogan

Frank Hogan, 51, a resident of Scranton, formerly of
Brooklyn, N.Y., died Wednesday evening in Hospice Preferred Choice Inpatient
Unit at Mid-Valley Hospital, Peckville, after a lengthy illness. His wife is
Shirley Hogan.
Born in Cobb, Ga., son of the late Willie and Jessie Timmons
Hogan, he was employed by Preferred Meal Systems Inc., and, prior to his
illness, at Sal's Pizza, Scranton.
Surviving are three sons, Frank Jr., Wesley and Sterling;
five daughters, Patricia, Diamond, Shanae, Kim and Charlett; a brother,
Willie Hogan, Scranton; five sisters, Doris Everett, Viena, Ga.; Julia
Pierce, Cobb, Ga.; Bertha Houston, Brooklyn, N.Y., and Liza Fortt and
Rosemary Hogan, both of Scranton; nine grandchildren, an aunt, an uncle,
nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wesly Hogan and
Henry Hogan; and two sisters, Diane Hogan and Betty Hogan.
The funeral will be Tuesday with services at 11 a.m. in the
Shiloh Baptist Church, 915 N. Washington Ave., by the Rev. Reginald D.
McClain, pastor. Interment, Forest Hill Cemetery, Dunmore.
Friends may call Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Miller
Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., and Tuesday, 10 to 11 a.m., at the
church.
