Joseph A. Baker, 93, a resident of Scranton, died
Saturday morning at the Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania after an
illness.
Born in Scranton, son of the late Joseph and Julia Adamski
Baker, he was a graduate of Sacred Hearts High School and Lackawanna
Business College.
Surviving are a son, Wayne, Scranton; grandchildren;
great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald; three sisters,
Rose Elliott, Ruth Ferris and Victoria Koehn; and two brothers, Stanley and
Walter.
There will be a blessing service Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. in the
Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave. Interment, Sacred Hearts
Cemetery, Scranton.
