Mary Alice E. Berberich Geiger, 55, a lifelong resident of South Scranton, died early Thursday morning in the MercyHospital, after an illness. She was the widow of Harry Geiger who died February 25, 2002.  She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late Charles J. and Alice Kuzara Berberich. A graduate of Scranton Technical High school Class of 1966, a member of St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church. Prior to retirement she had been employed by the Murray Corporation and RCA.

    She was a friend to all who knew her and loved by many.

    Surviving 3 sisters, Elizabeth Reyrat, Scranton, Beverly Worlinsky, Blakely, Carol Hansen, Scranton; three brothers, Charles, Paul, and Joseph all of Scranton; a close friend Maude Heim-Klara, Scranton; nieces, nephews and cousins.

    She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Barbara J. Paone and Margaret Berberich.

    Cremation services took place at Maple Hill Crematory. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, February 4, 2005 at 10:00 am in St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church, 430 River Street, Scranton.
