Albert Henry Ogg, 74, a resident of Scranton, died early Tuesday morning in the V.N.A. Hospice of Lackawanna County Inpatient Unit at Community Medical Center after a lengthy illness. His wife the former Frances Marie Roscioli died December 6, 1998.
He was born in Scranton, the son of the late Albert and
Mildred Pesotine Ogg. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean
Conflict and prior to retirement he worked since 1958 for International
Operating Engineers, local #542, as a Heavy Equipment operator. He was a member
of the Nativity Social Club and International Operating Engineers, local #542.
He was a loving father, grandfather who loved his
grandchildren to his fullest. He enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and the
companionship of his Golden Retriever, Sinbad.
Surviving is a daughter, Linda Breslin and her husband Bob,
Scranton; 2 grandchildren Stephanie and Nicholas Breslin, aunts, uncles,
cousins, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in the
Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with services by Dr. Al
Cremard, Pastor of the Independent Bible Church, Duryea. Interment, Fairview
Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
