Helen Martini

Helen Martini, 90, a resident of Scranton, died Monday evening in the Mercy Hospital after an illness. She was the widow of Dominick Martini, who died in April of 1972.
She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late Joseph and
Ethel Smith Rosar. She attended St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church, Scranton.
Surviving are 2 nieces, Ellen McDermott, Scranton, Barbara
Hudak, Clarks Summit; 2 nephews, Joseph Rosar, Scranton, Daniel Rosar, Olyphant;
cousins.
She was preceded by a 2 brothers, Kirby E. Rosar and Kenneth
Rosar.
Mass will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s of the
Assumption Church, 430 River Street. Interment will be private at the
convenience of the family.
There will be no public calling hours. Those attending Mass
are asked to go directly to the Church. Memorial contributions can be made in
her memory to the Humane Society of Lackawanna County, 967 Griffin Pond Road,
Clarks Summit, PA 18411-9299.
