Kathryne F. Reese

Kathryne Frances Reese, 91, a longtime resident of Scranton, a former resident of Dunmore, died Tuesday evening in the Green Ridge Nursing Home after an illness. She was the widow of William J. Reese who died July 17, 1994.
She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late Cecil and
Frances R. Deubler Reeser, a member of the Tripp Avenue Christian Church and a
member of their choir. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star and had been
employed by Reeser Brothers Printing and prior to retirement, by the Globe
Store.
Survivors are a son Dennes Reese and his wife Norma, Dunmore;
3 grandsons, Dwane Reese and his wife Meredith, Scranton, Deric Reese and his
wife Nancy, Scranton, Brian McAndrew, DE; a great granddaughter, McKayley
McAndrew, DE.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen McAndrew; a
brother, Leeland Reeser and a grandson Jackie McDonnell.
The funeral and committal services were held privately at the
convenience of the family by Virginia Manthey of the Tripp Avenue Christian
Church. Interment was in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
