Marian Schott

Marian Schott, 84, a longtime resident of Scranton, died Sunday in the Mercy Hospital after an illness. She and her husband H. W. Schott were married for 59 years.
She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late Dominick
and Helen Steinbach Joyce. She was a member of St. Mary’s of the Assumption
Church and a graduate of St. Mary of the Assumption High School. Prior to
retirement she was employed by Gertz of Long Island, NY, as a Film Developer.
Also surviving are 2 sisters, Helen Davey, Pittsburgh and
Roseanne Molenda, Medina, OH; nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Thursday with Mass at 10 a.m. in St.
Mary's of the Assumption Church. Entombment, Italian American Cemetery,
Scranton.
Friends may call Wednesday 6 to 8 p.m. in the Miller Bean
Funeral Home Inc. 436 Cedar Avenue.
