Charlotte "Chickie" Egen

Charlotte “Chickie” Egen, 93, a resident of Venice, FL, for the past five years, formerly of East Mountain and the Forum Towers, died Saturday at the Manor Care Health Services in Venice, FL.
She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late John F.
And Minnie S. Shellhorn Egen. She was a member of the Hickory Street
Presbyterian Church. Prior to retirement she had been employed by Consolidated
Molded Products.
Surviving is a daughter, Millicent Kelly Miller and her
husband Charles “Charlie” Miller, Venice, FL; a sister, Mabel Egen Goodfellow,
Scranton; 3 grandchildren, David Miller, Mount Pocono, Janet Langan, Scranton, Ken
Miller, Scranton; 10 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother, George Egen; 2
sisters, Minnie Egen and Emma Egen Siglin.
The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Miller Bean
Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with Services by the Rev. Tom H. Collins,
pastor of Hickory Street Presbyterian Church. Interment Abington Hills Cemetery,
South Abington Township.
