Margaret Mary Holland

Margaret Mary Holland, a resident of Dunmore, died Thursday morning in the Moses Taylor Hospital emergency department, shortly after arrival.
She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late Eugene F.
And Margaret C. McGuire Holland, Sr.. She was a member of Christ the King
Church, Dunmore, she earned her Bachelors Degree from Marywood College and her
Masters Degree from the University of Scranton. Prior to retirement she was the
Vice President of the University of Dayton in Ohio.
Surviving are a brother, Eugene F. Holland, Jr., Scranton; 3
nephews, Eugene III, Scranton, Joseph, Dunmore and Gregory, Scranton.
Funeral Mass will be Monday, at 9:30 a.m. in the Christ the
King Church, 1214 Quincy Avenue, Dunmore. Interment will be private in St.
Mary’s of Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Their will be no public calling hours. Friends attending the
Funeral Mass are asked to go directly to the church.
