Sophia Ann Kaser

Sophia Ann Kaser, 88, a lifelong resident of Scranton, died Thursday evening in the Dunmore Health Care Center following an illness. She was the widow of Ralph Otto Kaser, who died May 1, 1983.
She was born in Scranton, the daughter of Stephen and Mary
Duchak Sunick. She attended Scranton Public Schools and was a member of Nativity
Of Our Lord Church.
The family would like to extend its sincere appreciation and
gratitude to the staff and care givers at Dunmore Health Care Center who had
become her extended family.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Patricia A. Sable, Scranton, Carol
A. Jessen, Mount Laurel, NJ; 2 brothers, Thomas Sunick, Scranton, Albert Sunick,
Hamburg, NY; 2 sisters, Anne Judge, Moscow, Elizabeth Miller, Sicklerville, NJ;
5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Stephen and Joseph
Sunick; a sister, Marie Snee; a son in law James K. Sable.
The funeral will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the Miller Bean
Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave, Scranton with mass at 10 a.m. in Nativity Of
Our Lord Church, 633 Orchard Street. Interment, Fairview Memorial Park,
Elmhurst.
