Edmund W. Milner, 92, a resident of Scranton, formerly of Dunmore died Tuesday morning in the Mountain View Care Center after an illness. His wife is the former Edith "Edie" Seibert, they celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary July 19, 2005.
He was born in Dunmore, the son the late Frederick and Flora Leadbeater Milner. He was a member of the Hickory Street Presbyterian Church, a former member of the Gideon Society and the Big Band Society. Prior to retiring he had been employed by the Clair Degraw Funeral Home, Dunmore for 17 years and the Citizens Savings and Loan Bank.
Surviving are 2 grandchildren, Kimberly Jynella, Cape Coral, FL, Ryan Lotz, Clarks Summit, 4 great grandsons, Billy, Wilhelm and Shane Jynella; and Jacob Lotz; a brother in law, Charles Seibert, Scranton; a sister in law, Marjorie Milner, VA; nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Joyce Lotz; granddaughter, Kristen Lotz; 3 brothers, Frederick, Albert and John; a sister, Janet Klinetob
The funeral will be at Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with Services by the Rev. Tom H. Collins, pastor of the Hickory Street Presbyterian Church. Interment Dunmore Cemetery, Dunmore.
