She was born in Scranton, the daughter the late David and Mary Dugan Lewis. She attended Scranton Public Schools and for years attended the Grace Bible Church, Dunmore.

    She will be forever remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was dearly loved by all her family and will be greatly missed.

    Also surviving are a 6 daughters, Candy Quick and her husband Bryan, Scranton, Karen Sworin and her husband Eugene, Thornhurst, Kelly Ebersole, at home, Cindy Peterson and her husband Kris, Wyoming, Kerry Ebersole, Downington, Kim Rachko and her husband Michael, Roaring Brook; 5 sisters, Mary Rinkus, Rita Lewis and Audrey Burrier all of Scranton, Ann Ciccone and Dorothy LoRusso, both of Utica NY; 2 brothers, Robert Lewis, Utica, NY and Gerald Lewis, Raleigh, NC; 7 granddaughters, Nicole, Melissa and Caitlin Sworin, Kayleigh and Shannon Peterson, Ashton Ebersole and Malori Rachko.

    She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, David Lewis, Jr. and John Lewis.

    In honor of her wishes the funeral will be private at the convenience of the family with services by the Rev. Eugene E. Setzer. Interment will be private in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.

    Friends may call Wednesday 5 to 8 p.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue.
