Dorothy B. Rorick

Dorothy B. Rorick, 90, a longtime resident of the East Mountain section of Scranton, died Wednesday afternoon in the Mountain View Care Center. She was the Widow of Edward J. Rorick who died in 1962.
She was, the daughter of Ivor and Mary Hanna Parry Richards, an active member of the St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Scranton and it’s organizations. Prior to retirement she had been employed by the Scranton Lace Company and then the Northeastern Bank in the cafeteria.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt who will be dearly missed. She loved her pets and animals.
Surviving is a son, William E. Rorick and his wife Diane, Scranton; 2 granddaughters, Meghan L. Feliciani and her husband Joseph, Naples FL, Jacqueline Rorick, Scranton; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Patricia Strasburger; a sister and brothers.
The funeral will be Tuesday from the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with services at 10 a.m. in Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church, corner of Prospect Avenue and Birch Street, Scranton, by the Reverend M. Jon Eastwood, Pastor. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.
