Dr. Carl M. Phillips

Dr. Carl M. Phillips, 49, a resident of Summit by the Lake, died Monday at his home.
He was born in Scranton, the son of Ruth Josephs Phillips,
Scranton and the late Robert J. Phillips. He was a member of the Church of Saint
Benedict and Our Lady of Snows Church, Clarks Summit. He was a graduate of
Scranton Central High School, the New York Chiropractic College and attended the
University of Scranton. He was employed locally as a chiropractor and a former
partner of Professional Chiropractic Associates.
Also surviving are three daughters, Erin Phillips, Casey
Phillips and Meghan Phillips, all of Clarks Summit; three brothers, Robert
Phillips Jr., Huntington, NY, Gary Phillips, Westminster, MD, James Phillips,
Davidsonville, MD; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Saturday from the Miller Bean Funeral
Home Inc, 436 Cedar Avenue, Scranton, with Mass at 10 a.m. Church of Saint
Benedict, Newton Ransom Boulevard, Clarks Summit. Interment, Abington Hills
Cemetery, South Abington Township.
