She was born in Scranton, the son of the late Frederick and Alta Mae Cramer Griffin. She was educated in Scranton Public schools and earned a degree in Biomedical Technology from the Johnson Technical Institute. She lived in Copperas Cove, TX while she served in the U.S. Army. Prior to returning to Scranton, she was employed as a biomedical technician by the Columbian Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.

    She was an outgoing and loving sister.

    Surviving is are 2 brothers, Mark Griffin, Dunmore and Ned Griffin, Dunmore; an uncle, Adon Cramer, Mount Cobb; cousins.

    She was preceded in death by a sister, Marcy and a brother, Matthew Griffin.

    The Funeral Service and Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

    The family will greet friends Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. at the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 1101 Hill Street, Jessup, PA 18434-1659.
