She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late William and Ruth Meyers Hartman and stepdaughter of the late Helen Hartman. She was a graduate of the Dunmore High School and had been employed as manager of the Beauty Salon located in The Globe Store, downtown Scranton, for many years before retiring from her position with Lackawanna County.

    Surviving is a son, James Baer and his wife Christine of Dunmore; a daughter, Judy Ventimiglia and her husband Bernard of Clarks Summit; a sister, Ethel Weeks, Scranton; 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

    The Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

    There will be no public calling hours. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the VNA Hospice of Lackawanna County, 301 Delaware Avenue, Olyphant, PA 18447-1531.
