Mildred L. Baranowski

Mildred L. Baranowski, 84, a resident of Scranton, died Tuesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, in Manahawkin, NJ, with both her daughters at her bedside. She was the Widow of Walter R. Baranowski who died January 16, 1990.
She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late John and Josephine Ellard Herbinski. She was a member of Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church, South Scranton, and it’s Golden Age club.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Arlene Ash, Raleigh, NC, Lois Papp, Manahawkin, NJ; 3 brothers, Ernest Herbinski, Old Forge, Walter Herbinski, Pittston, Henry Herbinski, Orlando, FL; 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John Herbinski.
The funeral will be Thursday from the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with mass at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary Church, 1217 Prospect Avenue. Interment, Parish Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
