Bernard T. Ventimiglia

    Bernard Thomas Ventimiglia, 59, a resident of Clarks Summit, died Saturday afternoon at home after a recent surgery. He and his wife the former Judy Baer would have celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary February, 17.

    He was born in Scranton, the son of Helene Branger Ventimiglia, Dunmore and the late Thomas Ventimiglia. He was a member of St. Gregory’s Church, Clarks Green, a graduate of Dunmore High School and served in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, HC 55th Brigade 28th Infantry Division. He was employed by the National Enquirer as a district sales manager for 33 years.

    His life was his family and their happiness. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and son. He was the one and only love of his wife’s life and will be deeply missed.

    Also surviving are a son, Bernard Mark Ventimiglia and his wife Glenna, Clarks Summit; a daughter, Nicole Luongo and her husband Patrick, Hoboken, NJ; a twin brother, Mark R., Scranton; a brother, Thomas Ventimiglia, Dunmore and his twin sister, Debra Ventimiglia, Boston, MA; 4 grandchildren, Julia, Alaina, Patrick and Zachary.

    The Funeral will be Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. from the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Gregory’s Church, 330 North Abington Road, Clarks Green. Interment, Abington Hills Cemetery, South Abington, Township.
