Mary Ann Mangan

Mary Ann Mangan, 95, a longtime resident of South Scranton, died Thursday evening, in the Mountain Rest Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was the widow of Charles J. Mangan who died May 23, 1970.
She was born in New York City, NY, the daughter of the late George and Mary Ann Schneider. She was a former member of St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church and prior to retirement worked as a nurses aide at the Clark Summit State Hospital.
Surviving is a son, Charles F. Mangan, Scranton, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
A blessing service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue. Friends may call Tuesday 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment, Dunmore Cemetery, Dunmore.
