Rose M. Graff, RN

    Rose Marie. Graff, RN, 76, a lifelong resident of Scranton, died Sunday afternoon in the Mountain View Care Center after a long battle with Parkinson disease. She and her husband Donald F. Graff were married for 41 years.

    She was born December 27, 1929 in Dunmore, the daughter of the late Danial and Theressa Galucci Rinaldi. She was a graduate of Dunmore High School Class of 1947, a graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, a member of St. Mary' of the Assumption Church, the German American Association of Lackawanna County and the Mercy Hospital Auxiliary. She retired from the Moses Taylor Hospital after 39 years of dedicated service as a Registered Nurse there, and for several years prior, was employed as the same at the Jersey City Medical Center and the Scranton State Hospital.

    She was a dedicated nurse, dedicated to taking care of, and helping others. She was the last nurse at the Moses Taylor Hospital to wear the traditional white nursing cap and white uniform. She also enjoyed traveling.

    Also surviving is an uncle Vincent Galucci, Bloomfield, NJ, nieces, nephews and many loving friends.

    The Funeral will be Thursday from the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's of the Assumption Church. Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
