Eleanor T. Jones

Eleanor T. Jones, 98, formerly of Cape Coral, FL and Scranton, died Tuesday afternoon in the Wesley Village Skilled Nursing Facility were she was a resident. She was the widow of Samuel D. Jones.
She was born and raised in Scranton, the daughter of the late John W. and Elizabeth Williams Jones. She was a former member of the Cape Coral Presbyterian Church, FL, a graduate of the Hahnemann School of Nursing and a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are three nieces, Shirley R. Veno, Scranton, Marilyn E. Lewis, Scranton and Brenda Madigan, TN; several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a three sisters Margaret Ordnung, Ethel Neale and Ruth Bialkowski.
The Funeral and interment were held private at the convenience of the family with services by the Reverend Tom H. Collins pastor of the Hickory Street Presbyterian Church. There will be no public calling hours.
