
Marguerite "June" Owens

Marguerite "June" Owens, 92, a lifelong resident of Covington Township, died early Tuesday afternoon in the Community Medical Center, shortly after arrival. She was the widow of Emerson W. Owens who died July 5, 1989.
She was born in Covington Township, the daughter of the late Frank E. and Caroline Louise Vohrer Wheeler. A lifelong member of the Daleville United Methodist Church and an honorary member of the Daleville Fire Company Auxiliary. She worked in the family business, the Elmwood Riding Stable.
She loved her flower garden and also enjoyed raising and breeding Collies with her sister.
Surviving are her niece and care giver, Doris A. Sebring, Gouldsboro; a grand nephew and care giver, Edward Sebring, Moscow; and several grand nieces and grand nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Edith Romayne Tritchler, Isabelle Sebring and Blanche Sebring; a brother, Robert Vohrer Wheeler.
The Funeral and Committal Services will be Friday at 3:00 p.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, by the Rev. Gladys Fortuna-Blake, Pastor of the Daleville United Methodist Church. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in the Moscow Cemetery, Moscow.
