
Aldea Klein

Aldea S. Klein, 95, a longtime resident of South Scranton, died Tuesday afternoon. She was the widow of Clarence Klein who died August 21, 1988.
She was born in Taylor, the daughter of the late Michael and Caroline Weibel Strein, a graduate of Taylor High School, a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Taylor and the Women of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. Prior to retirement she had worked for Strein Electrical, her father's business, and The Globe Store.
Aldea was the daughter of a Swiss immigrant and was very proud of her heritage. She loved nature, especially birds, enjoyed movies and Broadway plays. Above all, she was a kind and loving person who just loved being with people. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are her family, Mary Anne Wolfsberger; Christine, James and Nathan Connor; Leo, Heidi and Michelle Wolfsberger, all of Moosic; a cousin, Edward Loessy, Taylor.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Carolyn; a sister, Edna Lewis and a brother.
The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with Services by the Rev. Norm Demming, Pastor of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Taylor. Interment, Forest Home Cemetery, Taylor.
