Betty J. Langan, 56, A lifelong resident of Scranton, died Wednesday morning in the Community Medical Center. She and her husband Saul Langan celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary October 18th.
She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late George and Beulah Mae Hogue Diehl. Prior to retirement she had been employed by the Community Medical Center in the Dietary Department.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was completely devoted to her family and friends.
Also surviving are a son, Saul Langan Jr., and his wife Tracy, Scranton; a daughter Lisa Greene and her husband David, Sydney Australia; two brothers, William Diehl, NJ and Kevin Pittack, Jermyn; two grandsons, Saul Patrick Langan, Scranton and Kiran Greene, Sydney Australia; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Georganne Diehl and a brother Charles Diehl.
The Funeral and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no public calling hours.
