Mildred Nealon Earlywine, 92, a former resident of Scranton, of New Carrollton, Maryland, died Friday morning in the Doctors Community Hospital, Lanham, Maryland, after an illness. She was the widow of Virgil Earlywine.
She was born and raised in Scranton, the daughter of the late John Joseph and Bridget Grimes Nealon. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Landover, Maryland.
Surviving are a sister, Claire Turner, Riverdale Park, MD, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Francis and John Joseph; a sister, Kathleen Watson.
The funeral will be Thursday with Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church, 430 River Street. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
