She was born in Middletown NY, the daughter of the late Henry and Evelyn Kreinberg Kohler. She was a graduate of West Scranton High School and prior to retirement had been employed by Allied Services.

    She was a loving mother and grandmother who cared very much for her grandchildren. Many thanks to Shirley Rosencrance for her friendship and support over the years.

    Surviving are two sons, Gary D. Scott and his wife Tori, Scranton, Jeffrey B. Scott and his wife Barbara, Scranton; four granddaughters, Lisa Scott, Gayle Scott, Morgan Scott and Katie Scott.

    She was preceded in death by a son Artie Scott.

    The funeral will be Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with services by the Reverend Tom H. Collins, pastor of the Hickory Street Presbyterian Church. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

    Calling hours will be on Saturday 10 to 11:30 a.m.. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, 71 North Franklin St. Wilkes-Barre PA 18701-1312.
