Paul R. Hafner Sr., a lifelong resident of Scranton, died Friday morning in the VNA inpatient unit at the Moses Taylor Hospital. He and his wife, the former Judith Conrad, would have celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary January 8th, 2007.
He was born in Scranton the son of the late Lucille Gorecki Hafner and Robert Hafner, Moosic. He was a Graduate of Scranton Central High School. Prior to retirement he had been employed by Goldstar Manufacturing, Alperin Inc. and Causal Sportswear as a production control pattern maker.
He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather who will be missed. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboy’s and the New York Yankees.
Also surviving are two sons, Paul Hafner and his wife Debbie, Scranton, David Hafner and his wife Dawn, Scranton; five grandchildren.
The Funeral and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family with services by the Rev. Terry Drost, Pastor of the Peckville Assembly of God Church.
