Kathleen Naegeli, 87, a resident of Olyphant, formerly of South Scranton and West Mountain, died early Tuesday morning in the Ascera Care Hospice at the Mid Valley Hospital. She was the widow of William R. Naegeli who died September 24, 1994.
She was born in Essex Romford, England, the daughter of the late George and Ellen E. Boreham Dearman. She was a member of the Hickory Street Presbyterian Church, the Sebert Schneider Sunday School Class and the Golden Age Club at Nativity of Our Lord Church.
Surviving is a son, Kenneth Naegeli and his wife Margery, Olyphant; a daughter, Kay Cardamone and her husband John, Throop; a stepdaughter, Maureen Pesavento and her husband John, Scranton; a sister, Alwen Spence, Flagler Beach, FL; nine grandchildren, great grandchildren and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Keith William Naegeli.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Hickory Street Presbyterian Church, 435 Hickory Street, with Services by the Rev. Tom H. Collins, Pastor.
There will be no public calling hours.
