Mary T. Sohns

Mary T. Sohns, 87, a resident of Olyphant, formerly of West Scranton died Thursday morning in the VNA Hospice Inpatient unit at Community Medical Center. She was the widow of Edward P. Sohns who died February 11, 1984.
She was born in Susquehanna, the daughter of the late George and Anna McLaughlin Stroh, a member of St. Ann's Basilica and prior to retirement had been employed by Haddon Craftsman as a bookbinder.
Surviving are two sons, Phillip Sohns, Moosic, Carl P. Sohns , Moosic; a daughter, Zandra Kuligowski, Springbrook; three grandchildren, Joseph Kuligowski, Springbrook, Kimberly Kuligowski, Springbrook and Sara Sohns, Moosic, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother George Stroh; three sisters, Helen Curtin, Dorothy Churilla and Margaret Brown.
The Funeral will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Ann's Basilica, 1250 St. Ann's Street, Scranton. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
