Nancy Lee Komora

    Nancy Lee Komora, 60, a lifelong resident of the East Mountain section of Scranton died Friday Morning in the Mercy Hospital Inpatient Hospice unit after a courageous fourteen year battle with cancer. She was the widow of Edward F. "Ike" Komora who died August 21, 1995.

    She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late George and Muriel Hafner Hartman. She was a member of the Hickory Street Presbyterian Church, a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and was employed by Cigna Life Insurance Company.

    She enjoyed spending quality time with her family, especially her grandson Ethan whom she loved dearly. She also enjoyed times she spent with her friends and cousin going to the movies and dinner. She will be missed by all and is now in the loving hands of God.

    Surviving are two sons, Edward Kevin Komora, Scranton, Brian Komora and his wife Christina, Scranton; a grandson, Ethan Komora; aunts, an uncle, cousins, nieces and nephews.

    The funeral will be Monday with services at 11 a.m. in the Hickory Street Presbyterian Church, 437 Hickory Street, by the Rev. Tom H. Collins, pastor. Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst, PA. Those attending the funeral service are asked to go directly to the church.

    Friends may call Sunday 4 to 7 p.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue.
