She was born in Newton, NJ, the daughter of the late Samuel J. and Helen Dufford Van Orden.

    She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She lived life to her fullest and had no regrets.

    Surviving are two sons, Kenneth M. Burdge and his wife Esther M., Hamlin, Gerald W. Van Orden and his wife Rose, Taylorsville, NC; four daughters, Donna K. Horn, Dickson City, Karen H. McClure and her husband Gary, Ashville, NC, JoAnn J. Stafursky, and her husband Paul, Scranton and Theresa A. Burdge, NJ; a former son in law Ralph Horn Jr., Dickson City; a brother, Walter Van Orden, AZ; fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by a brother Ernest; two sisters, Eleanor Wright and Ruth Ann Moses.

    The Funeral will be Friday in the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with services at 8:00 p.m.. Cremation services will be held at the Maple Hill Crematory.
