Anna Mae Kearney, 91, formerly of Madisonville Township and the East Mountain Section of Scranton, died late Saturday evening in the Lackawanna County Health Care Center. She was the widow of Christopher E. Kearney, who died October 1, 1993.
She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late Patrick J. And Frances Patrick Flood. She was a graduate of Scranton Central High School, a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church, Moscow and the Altar and Rosary Society.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Burns and her husband Robert, Peckville, Patricia Koellner and her husband Charles, Columbus, OH; three grandsons, Robert A. Burns, Jr., Madisonville, Paul D. Burns, Staten Island, NY, Douglas M. Koellner, Columbus, OH; nieces, nephews, cousins, sister in laws and brother in laws.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Koellner, who died August 14, 1981.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. from the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, Scranton, with Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Church Street, Moscow. Interment St. Catherine's Cemetery.
