He was born in Scranton, the son of the late John and Mary Lipnicki. He was a former member of Scared Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church, a veteran of WW II serving with the United States Army and prior to retirement had been employed by Anthracite Overall.

    He was an accomplished accordion player and enjoyed baseball. He was a New York Yankees Fan.

    Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann Stone and her husband Henry, Scranton; two sons, Dominick Lipnicki, Scranton and John Lipnicki; two grandsons, Henry Stone Jr., Scranton and Brian Stone, Scranton.

    He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph P. Lipnicki and John Lipnicki.

Funeral Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

    There will be no public viewing hours.
