She was born in Scranton, the daughter of Ethel L. Barke Miller, Scranton and the late Leo J. Miller. She was a life long member of St. Mary's of the Assumption Church and had been employed by Morris White Fashions, Daphne Handbag and Mfg Co, Inc. and retired from Haband.

    Also surviving are two sisters, Gertrude L. Melnich-Ohm and her husband Walter, Columbus, OH, Sister Andrea Miller, Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, Bridgeport, CT; aunts, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

    She was preceded in death by a brother Willard J. Miller and a sister, Frances E. Marquette.

    The Funeral will be Monday from the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with Mass at 9:00 a.m. in St. Mary's of the Assumption Church. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
