Rose Marie Wolfe Sealey, 59, a resident of South Scranton, died early Tuesday evening in the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, after a brief illness. She and her husband John Sealey were married 41 years.
She was born in Scranton, the daughter of Concetta Calianno Wolfe, Scranton and the late Joseph A. Wolfe, Sr.. She was a graduate of Scranton Central High School and a member of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church.
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be greatly missed.
Also surviving are a daughter, Marcie A. Sealey, Scranton; a son, John "Giovanni" Sealey, Jr., Scranton; a brother, Joseph A. Wolfe, Jr. and his wife Renee, Roaring Brook; a grandson, C.J. Williams, Scranton, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Saturday from the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with Mass at 10:00 a.m. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary Church, 1217 Prospect Avenue. Entombment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
Friends may call on Friday 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions can be made in her memory to The House of Care, Geisinger Foundation, c/o Development Office, Danville, PA 17822.
