Marie C. Kolodgie, 75, a lifelong resident of Scranton, died Saturday evening in the Moses Taylor Hospital after being stricken ill at home. Her significant partner of 32 years is Robert P. Boland, of Scranton.
She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late Theadore and Caroline Wilk Migalski. She was a member of the Nativity of Our Lord Church, South Scranton and attended Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church. She was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and prior to retiring from Keystone Printed Specialties of Scranton, she had been employed there for forty-two years.
Also Surviving is a son, Peter T. Kolodgie, Dupont; a sister, Caroline James, Lancaster; a brother, Louis Migalski, Scranton; five grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley, Danielle, Kevin and Elizabeth Kolodgie; a niece and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by a son Paul Kolodgie.
The funeral will be Wednesday from the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart’s of Jesus and Mary Church, 1217 Prospect Avenue. Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst, PA.
