John A. Rossi

    John A. Rossi, 91, a resident of Dickson City died early Friday morning in the Gino Merli Veterans Center, Scranton. He is survived by his wife, the former Agnes Fuller, they were married for 66 years.

    He was born in Scranton, the son of the late Frank and Giseppe Rossi, a graduate of Scranton Central High School and attended college. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during WW II. During which he spent time in Germany and the Swiss Alps, teaching the Army forces how to snow ski. He was the owner of the WACO Diner in Scranton, for many years and was associated as a realtor with Eisley Real Estate.

    Also surviving are son, Allan Rossi and his fiancée Anna, Dickson City; a daughter, Linda Colovos, Oregon; a sister, Dorothy Kardalski, Scranton and grandchildren.

    The family will greet friends on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue.
