Robert H. Schick

     Robert H. Schick, 77, a longtime resident of Scranton, died Friday morning in the Mercy Hospital.

     He was born in Scranton the son of the late Charles and Margaret Lewis Schick. He was a former member of the Hickory Presbyterian Church, a graduate of Scranton Technical High School, a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the US Navy. He was a member of the Dutch Hollow Neighborhood Association and the Lutherwood Resident’s Association. Prior to retirement he had been employed by The Diamond Shamrock Corporation in Connecticut.

     Bob was a fun person who enjoyed traveling, boating and camping. He spent many summers boating on lake Wallenpaupack with family and friends. He was a friend to everyone and enjoyed being there for others.

     Surviving are a brother, Charles F. Schick, Florida; nieces and nephews. Grave side Services will be held on Wednesday, March 26th at 1:00 p.m. in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Dunmore by the Rev. Tom H. Collins, pastor of Hickory Street Presbyterian Church.
