Pearl Summa

Pearl Summa, 90, a lifelong resident of Scranton, died Monday evening in the Mercy Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit. She was the widow of Frank J. Summa, who died January 2, 1985.
She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late Michael and Katherine Mochel Rapp. She was a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Church, East Mountain.
Surviving are five children, Frank Summa and his wife Fina, Hop Bottom, Michael Summa and his wife Carol, Scranton, Nancy Hann, Moosic, Paulette Mott and her husband Carl, Mount Cobb, Paul Summa and his wife Dianne, Olyphant; a daughter in law, Barbara Summa, Dunmore; twenty grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Theodore Summa; two grandchildren, John Summa and Michael John Summa; a son in law, William Hann; two brothers, Charles Rapp and Michael Rapp; three sisters, Minnie Graff, Mary Sailor and Anna Krample.
The funeral will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the Miller Bean Funeral Home, Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, with Mass at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Name of Jesus Church, at the corner of East Elm Street and Froude Avenue. Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
