Annette Nicholoff, 81, a lifelong resident of Scranton, died early Friday morning at the Golden Living Center. She was the widow of Luther Nicholoff who died October 9, 1957.
She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late Thomas and Helen Quinn Corcoran. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and attended Scranton Public Schools.
She loved music, dancing and going for car rides in the country to look for deer.
Surviving is a daughter Nancy Mecca and her husband Don, Scranton; four sons, Gerald Nicholoff and his wife Gale, Gouldsboro, Tony Nicholoff and his wife Marie, Tunkhannock, Donald Nicholoff and his wife Martha, Scranton, Fred Nicholoff and his wife Alita, Scranton; two sisters, Alice Caroline Lazzeri, Beech Lake, Mary Shelland, Philadelphia; a sister in law, Florence "Floss" Corcoran, NJ, ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters; Eleanor Tansky, Thomas Corcoran, Edward Corcoran, Harry Corcoran and an infant sister Helen.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, September 17th, at 9:30 a.m. the Cathedral Cemetery. Inurnment will be in the Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
